Shipping centre

The Schifffahrtszentrum close to the Reichsbrücke is operated by the subsidiary Wiener Donauraum and is the passenger terminal for tourists wishing to discover Vienna from Danube cruise ships. It also offers attractive office space next to the river.

Danube riverside development

As part of the "Vienna on the Danube" policy of the city administration, the Wiener Hafen group was reorganised and integrated into Wien Holding, and Wiener Donauraum Länden- und Ufer Betriebs- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft was established specifically for the sustainable development of the Danube riverside area and shipping.

The company is tasked with renewing and enlarging the waterside operations for passenger ships at the Reichsbrücke, improving services for tourists arriving by river and developing projects on the riverbanks.
